Financial advisers using Iress xplan face a daily friction tax. Client information lives across multiple xplan pages and external systems, and routine tasks demand constant context-switching, manual copy-paste, and data entry that's both slow and error-prone.
Writing a single Statement of Advice typically meant jumping between three systems just to pull the data, then formatting it by hand. Advisermate wanted to make that friction disappear — without asking advisers to learn a new tool or leave the platform they already work in every day.
The AdviserMate Google Assistant is a Chrome extension that overlays an AI assistant bar at the top of every xplan client page. It feels native to xplan — no second login, no separate dashboard, no workflow change — and brings AI into the moments where it actually earns its keep.
By living inside xplan rather than alongside it, the extension lowers adoption friction to near zero. Advisers don't have to change how they work — they just see new capabilities appear on the pages they already use.
Phase 1 and Phase 2 are complete. The extension is preparing for public release across Advisermate's adviser network.
